Monday 30/07:
Bad weather again, this time we hold takeoff straight after morning brief. And we spent the whole day attending briefs, one after the other. System related, fair & safety related, whole long list of them.

Just hate no flying days, which the weather would clear up soon, so I can once again soar into the skies.
Flying = Progress = Graduate = Home = Edwin Happy.
Anyway we stacked at around 4pm, everyone went back except Alvin and I, who stayed back for simulators at such unholy timings. Got back to my room only at 9pm, but I did enjoyed it somehow.
A purely dedicated flight to practice all emergencies in preparation for my GHT coming up. For the benefit of all, its also known at General Handling Test, which means we'll show case all that we have learnt and also tested on any emergency as required.
Statisitics have shown that most who make it past this, usually graduate. But of course, thou shall not count thy chickens before thy eggs crack.
Sunday 29/07:
Tried PvP-ing on Arathi Basin, turned out to be such a pleasant experience for me! With almost maximum honour points by game, could almost start saving them up for the special stuffs sold on the vendor. Heh...
Anyway I was woke up by Chee Wee, who had sufficient love for me by buying lunch for me. That's totally cool man.
I'm pretty amazed with the kind of things that I can do, but unknowingly. However, this does illustrates to me that, "Things that you need/want, they are always hard to find, but when its the opposite, they always come knocking on your door".
Saturday 28/07:
Check out my latest inventory!

Have been eyeing it like since months ago, finally decided to slide the 'Visa' thanks to all my friends who were there to make me feel good wearing it. Haha...
Haven't been to Perth in awhile, feels good to be there again. Went ktv with Joel, Zi Hao & Raymond, and man did we really enjoyed ourselves!
Saturdays are the best!

Sunday 22/07:
Forecast of the weather for the week ahead, Poor/Bad.
Wonder whether will be even be flying at all?
Have been hiding this for sometime already, it time to just let it out. Ever since I came, I caught up with this online multiplayer game of WOW, aka World of Warcraft.
And how it had helped me spend my time so effectively. On days when I needed to be 'someone' else, weekends that was so empty, nights that were free due to no flying the next day and also to keep me away from my reading books and study materials.
But I have no regrets, it was fun to some extent. So I got bored, time to move on to another thing that would keep me occupied. Even my Grey's Anatomy Season 1 & 2 has ended, and I don't have Season 3.
Anyway yesterday we went to Cpt Daljeet's house warming party, which was overall not bad. Other than seeing faces we usually see everyday again on a weekend, we had some fun. Got a glimpse of PlayStation 3 with Formula 1 tested & tried. Played some poker with the guys and instructors and lastly won quite a bit on blackjack.
Food was great, company was good, house was simple and nice, entertainment can't be better and lastly it just felt like a family.
I really hoped what I wrote for you was useful in some extent, pretty worried for you and hope it can be resolved soon. What are friends for right?

Thursday 19/07:
Pretty upset last night, despite being kind enough to help a friend in need.
Planned to fly 2 events, none of which was even completed, because of yet another cold front. My solo sortie just gone down the drain like that.
Anyway, back to the point of being upset.
Yeah whatever.

Wednesday 18/07:
This post is specially dedicated to a friend in need. You know who you are don't you? =p
Before I begin, I'm glad you started to put down my name rather than my nickname in your blog. =)
Everyone have their own expectations of how their 'perfect' partner should be, but we all also know that there will be no such 'perfect' person. As close as one who get, he/she would never be 'The One'.
Personally I feel that my partner should at least meet some of the major criterias, just like you. But that's me, and I also seriously discourage you from it. Unless you're able to be independent by yourself, and really lucky to find 'The One'.
Being ambitious is one thing, taking things one at a time is another. Both has its pros and cons of course. But if its part of your criterias, I have no say in that at all. But I feel a balance of both is good, not too much of the extreme to other side.
Love is a really beautiful thing. We don't know when and how it hits us, but it does when we least expect it. Don't you think so? I could remember how happy it was to be in love, how I would miss someone so much despite having spent the whole day with while on my way home and how it hurts when things go wrong.
All that is now just a chapter of my life journey, part of experiencing and learning, which I really did from her. However it was after some clear minded thinking to realise that why it didn't go on was because of our minds, rather than our hearts.
We should never let our mind take control of our feelings, because that's not their job. Our heart is our primary organ to feel, to love and to express all other feelings. That's the most important lesson I learnt from her.
And that is the point I want to bring to you, let you heart decide for you. I'm not saying to not think about it ,but rather listen and trust your feelings. Personally, that's how we all will eventually know when we actually know that this certain person is 'The One' whom we will be spending the rest of our lives with.
Think about it, revert to me on any doubts at all.
Touching on some profession advice for you, I've come across this through some reading, hope it helps! (Applies more to females, rather than males.)
Love is about all Chemistry, below is a guide you can use to help ease your decision making. Remember, it is just another school of thought, guideline which I personally think its true. Whether you want to apply it, its really up to you.
1) Do you feel comfortable with each other and is it easy to get close to each other?
1a) Able to communicate openly, and of course genuinely liking the guy and he making you feel that he likes you too.
1b) Able to tell him anything and all the things you would never share with anyone.
2) Do you feel safe being in a relationship with each other?
2a) Knowing that he would rarely hurt you with the things he do or say.
2b) Trust in each other. Never need to hide the real you and can show you who you really are and feel accepted.
2c) Security, able to take care of himself (part of financially) and stand up for you.
3) Do you have fun with each other?
3a) Fun is the glue of intimacy, is there lightness, laughter, play and even sillyness when you two are together? Of course need not be all the time, some moderation.
3b) It can be simple things like just chatting at a coffee stand or to making a meal together, do you feel like you enjoyed yourself?
4) Do you have real affection and passion for each other?
4a) More of the sexual part, but can be applied to the verbal, emtional and other physical aspects. Affection, which need not be hugs, kisses and caresses but more of the entire package. Be it your calling other special names that others do not address you with, or simple compliments or playful teasing or even little joking insults.
5) Do you feel real mutual respect for each other?
5a) Feel the respect for who he is and what he is doing with his life and not who could be in the future but rather who he actually is.
5b) Do you see him as a guy as a whole or rather a person who needs to sort himself out? And also if trouble finds their way to him, do you think he is able to rise to the occasion?
That's about it, of course there's more to it, but I just summarised the key things that I thought are really important. Should you need more, you know who to find already. =p
Just a quick short summary of myself:
1) I cleared my Area Solo and enjoyed myself greatly.
2) Next up is the General Handling Test (GHT) which is due next week.
3) I'm not really doing very well for this period of time and also affected greatly with my physical capabilities to handle the 'G' forces derived from all the aerobatic maneuvors.
4) My course is being pushed to fly in order to catch up with the kind of progression we should be having, so that's explain why I'm not free.
5) We're unofficially the most senior course here now, our immediate senior course are all due to return back to Singapore by next week.
6) I could use some support and encouragement from all to help me tide through this tough time. =) I got suspended from flying after my flight today. But after seeing the doctor, everything is back to normal again, flying solo tomorrow somemore. It's so funny how things can change so fast within a day. (For pride's sake, it is never my inability to fly that gets me suspended.)
With it, everyone take care of yourselves. Hear from me not so soon... I'm still catching up with you all from your blogs, so continue to update diligently okie?

Wednesday 04/07:
Finally planned to fly! But will the weather permits good flying conditions to go Solo?
So far, this whole week have been rain on and off, winds gusting and constantly changing directions. Not putting my hopes that high of flying.
My next 2 event happen to be a crucial one also. Considering the fact I have not flown for 9 days already, it is a setup for a disaster.
All the solo flights we have been cleared to do so far only requires ask to stay near the airfield so should anything (touch wood) happens, won't be much of an issue.
No pilot would ever want altitude above them, runway behind them and fuel in the truck.
This solo flight requires us to travel 40TAC to our allocated training area to do stalls, basic and advanced turns and basic aerobatics. I'm just not thinking about anything should something would arise during that time.
So far away from the nearest airfield, if unable the only way out is through the canopy glass with my Martin Baker seat. I'm not thinking about it.
But I seriously think the weather would be good enough for solo flights. Hmmm... 1st Area Solo, should be just another sortie shouldn't it be? Clear skies, calm winds and a strong heart. That's all I ask for.
Flying is cool alright, but you people just can't imagine the kind of pressure and stress we go through when faced with situations that concerns your own life. You don't have to be the one to screw it up, just one lapse in maintenance is more than enough.
It is also pretty hard to relate to you all on how my life is, not something an average people would know about doesn't it?
I'm not thinking about it. Yupz.

Monday 02/07:
Today is simply a remarkable day. I saw rainbows, big white fluffy clouds, dark threatening thunderstorm clouds, lightning & thunder, and the most shocking of all Hail Stones.
It is kinda my first time, and why it occured is something I learnt from Discovery Channel. I took note from this morning weather brief that the freezing level was onli 5000-6000ft. Now that explains it doesn't it?
Speaking of which, it have been a while since I last watched something educational on the television. My sister always watches Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and National Geographic Channel, if I'm not wrong should be SCV's channel 10, 11 & 12?
Always snatches the controller away and cut my soccer matches, billard/pool games and stuffs. So I would have no choice but to watch. Oh well, I guess living here in Australia really have threw watching television out of the window. No variety and worst of all no cable installed in our accomodation.
As usual no flying, I'm still counting down now... I'll be patient about it, no qualms. I made myself a countdown 'counter' with the events left and the supposed date of return. Setting small goals of tearing one piece by piece, day by day would help in the eventual big goal eh?
I'm waiting...Sunday 01/07:
Woken up abruptly by Raymond, which somehow reminds me of my mom disturbing on a Sunday afternoon to get up and help out with the house chores which I'm usually not around after waking up. LoL!
Sometimes I do, but not every week. Sometimes my sisters feel guilty and help, if not we won't have a quiet Sunday to enjoy.
8 hours of sleep I had, so I 'zombied' into the toilet and had a nice long hot shower. By the time I was time, the mirrors outside were all fogged up.
Dinner was whipped out by some of the guys, which was pretty good especially Tan T with the soup. Grabbed desserts before continuing on my Grey's Anatomy Season 2.
Met May Chen online as agreed, but only realised that I remembered the time wrongly. Thought it was 2230 so I came 15mins earlier, ended out I was 15mins late. Ironic isn't?
Somehow everyone I was talking to conveniently logged out from msn just in time to catch 2 games of Dota with Kiong Wee, Julian and Kenneth Lim.
Think I slept at about 1 plus in the morning, not planned to fly Again tomorrow...

Saturday 30/06:
End of June. Wonder how long more will I be here?
Went out to Midlands to have lunch, watch Transformers and buy some necessities with the guys. We drove out instead of cabbing, which is really expensive here in Australia.
You know, it seems to sad to see people making their lives so difficult, especially when they are friends of mine.
To know that you two still hold a room for each other in your hearts, and yet deny it with all that thoughtless acts. Your body language gave you two away in my physical presence. Somehow you two were determined in not letting me know about it and how it ended.
I didn't dare probe into it. For fear of hurting the friendships we share. I don't know how to help you two.
They say that Time Heals. I beg to differ. 5, 10 or even 20 years down the road, you will look back and think about "What if we managed to resolve the issue, where would be now?"
Stop all the immature mind games, seeing someone else doesn't help you too. Stop hurting each other for goodness sake!
If only I wasn't thousands of miles away... Helpless, I feel.Friday 29/06:
Great, just great. My sony laptop just went out on me. Just when I got it, I have to send it for repair and apparently the same problem as my previous one, LCD problem. Why does all this things happen when I'm away from home?
Did Ops Brief with Zi Hao, whom is one lucky guy. Just when he hadn't heard from this special 'her' in a while, then came an email. And in that email, the last sentence which goes something like this, "I do care about you and your life in Australia.", he has been Cloud 9 this whole week.
Even his table tennis have improved tremondously, but still insufficient to break my reign. Anyway, was a little upset Joel and Zi Hao left me behind despite my gentle reminders, other than that, I spent the night catching up on Grey's Anatomy and sleep.
