Tuesday 27/06:
Carried forward from yesterday, after lunch.
As most people didn't bring the lab top, they were bored. So I asked a few of them to go try the test. And true enough that most people are generalised to Sasuke for guys and Sakura for girls. Only certain questions affect the results, the other are so called decoys.
And so there were Sasuke (Zheng Nan) , Sakura (Alvin! Hahahaha...) and Shin (Raymond), the rest I don't remember. Everyone was laughing at the special people, no not Alvin... =p
Practically hit the books the whole night. Last exam already, do and die!
Now on to Tuesday:
Did revision and practiced the map planning as a course. Good refresher indeed. Exam was after lunch, all the way to the time to knock off. Didn't really read the extra notes that he gave us, so I was totally clueless for 2 out of 10 questions. Other than that, no more shocks.
Map planning was a little off, the questions that is. Took a lot of time to readjust all that co-ordinates and stuff. Almost couldn't finish. In the midst of all that confusion, I forgot what components needed to be inside the boxes on the map. Darn!
Once over, Congratulations & Celebrations! Some of us were supposed to go celebrate at Elvis's house but in the end... One flying kite to the other, in the end it was cancelled. Kinda knew Elvis had already prepared, if I were him... Somebody stop my rage man!
Actually very tired, felt a little lost, nothing to do I guess. Time to sort out my life!
Wednesday 28/06:
Leave cleared! Half day off for my dental appointment! =p Went for the trial exam for the FTT, met Kuan Zhi at the bus stop, my college chinese classmate. Surprise, surprise!
Took the same bus as him for a few stops to chat and catch up a little, wanted to message Chee Wei and Fel but wasn't sure if they would remember him.
My mom was on leave, so home wasn't as quiet as it would be, if you know what I mean.
Had a terrible time, but followed by a soothing one. Goodness Gracious man... The Pain!
My wardrobe is officially sorted out! Now what's next...
Big Revamp alreadi under way~

Monday 26/06:
Heh, been asking people to try but never tell our mine to most people, oh well...
Which Naruto Character Are You?
Test by naruto - kun.comI totally like the description, suits the character of an evil person. One whom have changed sides to the dark. Heh.
Anyway, more navigation lessons, not so bad as before, thank goodness. Hopefully can get my leave cleared. Oh its back to school for most people, =p!
10:17 am;
Saturday 17/06:
Got a call from Kiong Wee, out of nowhere, the guys wanted to go play lan, I didn't mind. Met up at Paya Lebar, with him, Boon Hwee first. Vickie, Ken Lim and Sujin came later.
Dota all the way from 5plus till 11plus. The sun was still up when we entered, and it was gone when we came out. Naturally, we went to look for food down Geylang.
At the time, and the place, for a group of young people to be hanging out seems totally wrong, except for Boon Hwee. Why you ask? Above 21?
I met Fabian Kang with his girlfriend and another vs classmate, surprised. Took a cab to Chee Wei's house, only left with Tian Cai, Ed Z, Shou Zhi and Serene.
Watched a bit of the match, played a few games of bridge, nothing much. In the end we 4 shared a cab home, Serene left first as usual.
Sunday 18/06:
Felt a little odd not going back to camp anymore, but it really feels good. =p
Father's day, pretty packed everywhere, long queues too. Goodness...
Monday 19/06:
The dinghy drill brief practically ate up our whole day, so we didn't do much.
Spent some good chatting time at night with lots of friends, just like back in college days, how nice...
Tuesday 20/06:
Morning brief was long, and draggy too. 132 wasn't that good but 133 was impressive.
The rain didn't stop us from doing the dinghy drill, pretty easy stuff, and I was the last to go. Ha, play by size, doesn't matter anyway, quite understandable that the g-suit does shrink.
A short follow-up debrief and that's it! All our survival drills all complete, left one chapter on Navigation and more Gfet sessions. Gosh, more spinning and G's. Thinking of it already makes me goes in circles.
Wednesday 21/06:
Ippt, helped to push my fellow coursemates on. Vola~ Zheng Nan and Siva got their Silver and Alvin missed by 3 seconds on Gold and Thiam Chye a minute down. Wasted...
Played soccer after that, kinda tiring. But our team owned the other, which mainly made up of 132 people. 131 rocks! =p
Tong Long saw me on the bus, even called me just before my stop. So cute, he said he saw me sleeping so don't want to disturb me to say hi...? Kinda like Wang Jin, when I was sound asleep on the mrt previously. Seriously cute. I thought only girls do that?
Thursday 22/06:
Well, supposed to have lessons in the morning but ended up as early lunch. Don't ask me why.
More navigation stuffs till the end of the day. Blah blah blah...
Navigation starts again, back to studying. Its the last of our ground school phase, and it'll be all over by next Tuesday! Hopefully... *crosses fingers*
Went to the new store, sis was doing closing. Very very open, unlike the old store. Good for a consumer's concept, but not much privacy for small talks.
While I was there reading through my stuff, got this small boy running around in circles, also playing with a couple, whom looked very familar. He was kinda just beside me, and that pair keep making funny, baby faces back to the boy. I felt kinda odd, out of place, seeing their faces like that.
Well it wasn't long that I caught his attention, after the girl's cookies were gone, so I gave him a sip of my vanilla chocolate frappucino. It didn't take long before his mom came over and stopped him, because he was having cough. Haha... He was cute alright.
To no surprise, I got confirmation from my sis that the couple were partners from the other stores. No wonder... Miranda came down later, went back around midnight, just went straight into bed.
Friday 23/06:
More navigation, afternoon session was more fun. More hands on, had the map to work on. First thing I looked was the island where I spent a wonderful time on, a week before I started staying in. (That entry never seemed to complete, just too busy yah?)
6 simple pictures to sum it up:
--------------------------------- the lovely island... --------------------------------
--------------------------------- the clear blue sky... -------------------------------

----------------------------------- the clear water... -------------------------------
---------------------------- the beautiful sandy beach... --------------------------

----------------------------- the wonderful exotic food... -------------------------
------------------- & last but not least the 3 pretty babes... ------------------
Rushed home, but got a taunt message from Tong Long. LoL! Okie, went to meet my 3 idols at CS but just missed one. Left Calmilus and Mr Taunt while Shufen got picked up by her dad. Had a short chat over some drinks at LGS, before rushing home.
Kinda got two big bodyguards who escorted me home. So odd! I'm usually the one who sent people home, and not the other way round! Well actually Tong Long was going to his friend's house, which was around my neighbourhood. And Mr Lee had nothing to do, that's why.
Managed to shake them off, was running a little behind schedule. Reached the wedding at Marina, which was quite grand.
Not another wedding I say, totally different from the previous one. Did I mention grand? Lots of people, old specifically and totally enjoyed the videos Ken made! Got scenes like Jay Chou in Initial D and songs of love in chinese. Ha! Well done, none could have done it except the it expert!
Photos were great too, kinda giving me more inspiration of places of where I would take mine. Ha! Here's the catch: Did I say I was getting married? Well its currently not in my plans, but it wouldn't harm planning ahead, just in case.
After the whole thing, the driving started. Arrowing people to 'ta' and all that nonsense. If you can hold it, then don't take it. In the end, one of the guys were totally down. Details not necessary, just like how a drunk person would be.
After all that effort, decided not to join the rest at double O. Just got myself a cup of coffee and caught some wind. The rain spoilt my outdoor plans, but the windy conditions were welcome indeed.
Just went I needed a nice quiet place to straighten out some thoughts, I had to have a couple to destroy it. And wow, they were really treating as though I weren't there! If you know what I mean... I guess because the only shelter out in the open is where I am, that's why?
Cabbed home, tired wanted to go to bed. But I came across some problems. Well I hoped that super cold, lame and crappy joke and short chat did cheer you up! What are friends for? Oh plesase get a microphone, I feel so stupid talking to myself!
Saturday 24/06:
Slept the first half of the day. Tired...
Had a great dinner! Just what I needed!
Did a major revamp Part I on my clothings, just the first step of the changes to come.
Sunday 25/06:
Had a strange dream, totally not relevant somehow. Some trouble getting myself to study navigation.
Part II today, put on hold till after Tuesday's navigation exam.

Thursday 15/06:
I've learned my lesson, no matter how many times I tell myself, I still do it. No more. Full stop. End of story.
Luckily I decided to rush home first to drop off all the extra load, if not I'll be totally weighted down.
Acjc concert was a mixture of feelings. Of course it brings back memories, but more importantly of things I've missed out since enlistment. First will be my trumpet, tempted to go get one. Next was all my bandmates during my time. Then the all boys band in secondary. And during recruit band too.
El Bimbo and Hua Mulan were the first two pieces that I've played as a band recruit. Was kinda high and tough solo for someone who got arrowed to play, me. It was fun, practicing around the hall with your batch people, greeting seniors, watching the main band from far and wanting to be part of them asap. Then when I got it, it was soccer, soccer and more soccer after band. Band camps were also to die for, unlike those in college, girls.
Concert was great, liked the jazz part and the solo drummer was exceptionally good. Bad timing though, but had to cancel my driving lesson in order to attend it. Met a poly guy from Amanda Lim's band, small world to link up.
Lesson number one: Being nice never pays off, seriously...Friday 16/05:
Peaceful day, unlike the other days. Wonderful.
After work, dropped by Chee Wee's house, quite nice and peaceful. Ate dinner with Alvin, James, Joe Cole and him at a place nearby, order egg, deer meat, mixed vegetables, baby kailan, kakong, sweet & sour fish and pork ribs. Joe was nice enough to drop me off outside the driving centre.
Driving was a little slow, first time in the night. Still having the same mistakes, but much better. The instructor is also much better this time. Step by step is the way to go isn't it?
You know I came across this article about
'Are local women all high maintenance?'The answer to this question is so obvious that you don't need to be tele-pathic to know.
Here's what important things I've picked up:
Women demand equality in the social life, but they don't do so when it comes to going dutch for meals and other expenses.
Going for high-end labels and branded stuffs, splurging on such things and expecting guys to not spend on their gadgets, beer and cars.
Women choose over a not nice guy who has the dough rather than a nice guy without the dough. Giving reasons like practical, can't offer MY standard of living, rather keep mr nice as a friend.
Can't even cook some basic food and expect something in return from the guys.
Well it goes on, but this are more than enough.
It proves so much of a point, that makes one feel even more glad to have not gone through it, first-handedly. That's why its so great!! Haha, if you know one of my smaller goal/dream/target, totally matching isn't it?
LoL...

Tuesday 13/06:
Last minute changes, had to stay in instead of Thursday. Wasn't prepared, but for Thursday night, I had to.
Super freaking unlucky to have to do the stupid morning brief again. And how did it happen? Freaking guessing numbers. WTH.
Dinner was average, chilled awhile before deciding to go to Elvis's house. Bought some food, snacks and drinks at a nearby place, somewhere I drove pass during the last lesson.
Food was good, high end. Slept during the second half of the Korea-Togo match.
Knocked out upon returning back to bunk.
Wednesday 14/06:
Wing Comd dropped by today, so did he to our bunks. First time I've enountered since coming to this god-forsaken place.
If the organisation is truly run like this, I'll gladly go somewhere else to pursue my dream rather than to suck it up and accept it. Totally out of hand. But my role models said operational squadrons are totally different so we just have to bear with it.
As far as one person may go, and as far as I can take it, it won't be long before everything goes out of hand. I must learn how to windwalk already and also to master that stupid guessing number game.
And to think I was so good at it during college days, skipping away on punishments of mixed up leftover food, embarassing moments and lame truth-0r-dare situations.
What happened...

Saturday 10/06:
Came back to see my sisters sleeping, left home seeing the same thing again. Oh how that sucked.
Driving was a little shaky at first, seemed to have forgotten a little, probably because my last lesson was like 2 months ago. With my pdl in my hand, first time officially on the road.
It was fun but yet boring. Driving around places I live near, also places where I travel to and fro to work. Definitely not to perfection. More practice would do good.
Met my sister at eunos before meeting the other at the tailors. Final adjustments, some shopping with them and lunch at Far East.
Home late.
Sunday 10/06:
Went to Elvis' home before booking in. Learned some new things which do me some good in terms of $$$. Future that is. The matches were so boring, for goodness sake.
Monday 11/06:
Same old nonsense again, less than 1hour of sleep, carried freaking heavy boats.
Thrown into the open cold sea north of Singapore, waited for the Super Puma helicopter to come pick us up, which was late AGAIN. Not to mention they forgot about me, leaving me hanging for a longer duration.
I got downwashed by the helicopter's blades 4 freaking times, one while picking up Aaron, next was while trying to get to me but ended up turning for the aeromedical doctor instead. Then was while picking the doctor, and lastly was while picking me up.
And that was a freaking long process, not only it hovered over me while waiting for the winchman to lower down, the pilot totally sucked at directing him towards me. After all was done, he still hovered over me, staying stationary for god knows what reason(s).
Freaking downwash made clear skies feel and look at fog and mist, with the sea water blasting into your face in minute droplets. Breathing was tough, trying to keep out the water and keeping the lookout for the guy was also freaking troublesome.
Couldn't even get some rest after that, because of what crappy image nonsensical stuff. Sun was freaking hot, had to keep back the boats, bus was like it was going to break down.
First time home on Monday night. Freaking Japan could not stop Australia after conceding one. SO BLOODY CLOSE!! 210 leh...
I got a really percular sms during the match. Met up with Jeradine after that, poor girl going through such a tough time for her relationship.
Thank goodness for me, that's one potential headache for me...

Tues 06/06:
What a date it is, what a change of events, what a total transformation of morale, what a way to slap you in the life that life sucks. LoL...
Wed 07/06:
Ippt and soccer under the scorching sun. Hardly could get some decent rest during lunch break, don't know why.
Went to fit our helmets and anti-g suit. Weather wasn't kind, making us perspire in our flight suits. Seems that our course is quite popular, every mother son's nickname is all known to them.
Felt feverish when I got home, forgot my keys, luckily my sister was home. This year's the girl contestants are much better than the guys. For those who can sing can sing, for those who can't sing look good. Unlucky for them I guess...
Did morning brief when I came back, nobody have the initiative to even let me know in advance. Had to climb all the way up to the SDO office to retrieve the fair report. Took the whole night to do it, and consolidated with Joseph later. Slept very late, tomorrow will be up very early.
Thursday 08/06:
Got up pretty early, met Brandon for breakfast, went up to get the weather report and started working on it. All the way till he came down to inform us of the cancellation of the morning brief. Dots, second time for us already...
Did some work in classroom before going to gym. Went to the mess after work with a lot of the guys to eat. Watched Singapore Idol from Raymond's labtop, satisfied with the results! Wasted time again tonight, but seriously can't be helped.
Friday 09/06:
Caught xmen courteousy of Ms Ang. Thanks, I owe you 5 bucks. But not without some confusion, and direction finding initially.
Went to have dinner before heading to Elvis's home. Managed to find my way there, watched the opening ceremony and ate Mac. And also chips and drinks. It was fun, but boring play by Germany.
Took a cab home, only can sleep for less than 4hours before my driving lesson starts.
It was really odd to have received that, but I've convinced that it doesn't mean much, or perhaps anything. I'm the one who should knows isn't it?

Tuesday, June 06, 2006
Monday 05/06:
Bad sign in the morning, the top button of my shirt came off. Of all the times and day for it to appear.
Even more bad things are to come. 9th June is nonsense already. And I don't know what happened last night.
Sianz, super sianz.
Soccer did helped a little, having a fantasic half the field chip over Chee Wee. Other than that, did some assist and stuff, and oh I didn't get injured! Know why? Because we were on the same team! But the previous one still hurts.
Whole day of rotting, even though I know its wrong, but it can't be helped. Totally lost.
3 weeks...

Friday 02/06:
Second last week already, seems fast but not without going through those nonsense.
Exam was okie I guess, got shocked here and there, wasn't say it was as good as the previous one.
Oh I finally got my internet access already! In camp that is! But of all the time to get it, I'm already booking out. Met my grandma, whom came down from Malaysia on Thursday at home. Spoke to me in Cantonese, a little better than last time.
Well, as usual my room was sacrificed. I was a homeless person in my own home. Couldn' plug into the internet, had to carry my labtop from room to living room, then to kitchen because my whole family was watching Da Chang Qin and back to living room and finally sleeping out on the sofa.
Felt crappy about it. Totally. -.-zZzSaturday 03/06:
Woke up pretty early, went to Far East with my sisters to do the measurements for our clothings. Think the suit was a little high end, decided not to get it.
Went down to IT fair, things got pretty easy narrowing down the labbies I wanted. Met this pretty cool girl working for Acer, I was kinda shocked to realise that we were of almost similar age.
My cousin was nice enough to help me collect all the brouchers, and the rest of his family to help me pay for it. Because of the points they would gain by sliding their card...
Dropped by store, already heard that it was closing down. Linda and another guy was working then, so it was cool. Waited for my parents to come, where we went to Bugis to have dinner, together with my grandma. Ate the MaLa steamboat, usual I guess.
While eating, got this 3guys, 3China girls group, very very fishy. Actually not at all, its like so obvious, if you know what I mean. Those girls look 30-40, with extremely big chest features and those man look rich enough or at least married to me. One of them is a old man. Seriously old man.
Got home, sister using the bathroom, of all the times man! Best. -.-
Pretty pleased today!Sunday 04/06:
Practically home the whole day. My neighbour was nice enough to give me a haircut, so tomorrow confirm won't get singled out.
Somebody finally got angry... But I don't buy it... Haha! Xiao Qi Gui!! Wahahahahah..!

Tuesday 30/05:
Today some really bad happened, and I was totally disgusted about it. I'm surprised how the rest managed to take it like a joke.
But however someone, something makes me furious, I kept my cool, and know how to handle and eventually simmer it down. I really appreciate him for giving me this chance to practice self-control. LeveL-Up!
Played soccer, got a slight injury from the one who totally went heir-wire, don't know why so don't ask me. Anyway our team totally owned the other, perhaps that's why? Our thai trainee joined us for a while, but gave up later because he ran out of breathe. When we met him at the cookhouse, he praised us, "Good fitness!" Then Siva and I was like a bit stunned, because our stamina wasn't as good as the rest. Rather interesting chat with him too.
Wednesday 31/05:
Afternoon lessons, totally lathegic and restless. Couldn't really concentrate on anything, but just to wait out on the time during Navigation lessons. Went home to put my room into better order, for the sake of my visiting overseas grandmother (dad's mom). Room sacrificed yet again, what's new. Will be a wonderer yet again, carrying my labtop, pillow and blanket all over the house.
Watched S'pore Idol, totally no hope man. All the cute little 17year olds, can't even sing. But come to think of it, I didn't really know anything about last time's competition. Jonathan Leong, Twohill got hope, at least they belong there, unlike the rest.
Right now, I'm a little lost in direction. Cpt David gave us new light on what to expect of our future. Should I go pursue my degree?Thursday 01/06:
Start of a new month, something I have been looking forward to. First off, 9th June is the official last stay-in day for my course, so I'm glad I can finally have my internet access back when the sunsets and also utilise my bed fully. Not to mention better food for dinner but just a little more cost in transportation. But I'm not complaining, its finally going to be our turn, back to those days before our ground school started.
Morning brief was a well done, but pretty odd we still had even though most of the big bosses not around. Gym was intensive, luckily no physical conditioning by the pti. Our whole course went to work it out on the field, playing soccer with exception of Cho and Vincent. Bunny joined us, which was good. It was also a great game, didn't complain about doing work in defence, only conceded one. Pleased overall, scored the last goal with a good one-two between Satesh, with exception of the superb solo effort only to have the finishing let me down.
Lunchtime had a round of dota, quick and short one. It was totally a round to remember with NA, -dm, -sm, -ar. 0 death, first time using it and many kills! For once, I feel like how Alvin would feel everytime. A positive change like this is always welcome!
Had a great workout, and also suntan. Airmanship last lesson, tomorrow is our exam, which is the second last for us. Realised that I've been feeling hungry recently, like can eat more than one serving of food during meal times. No explaination for that, but definitely not because of growth. I'm satisfied already, accepting who and what you are. Besides, there's always pros and cons to everything, just make yourself look on the bright side and excel in your pros.
Slept for a while before going through the notes throughout the whole night.
Still up at 3plus in the morning, can't help but just think of it... Kinda glad that things turned out like that... Right now, first things first.
My next holiday is coming up pretty soon, must be as good as last time! Got quite a sum of leave to clear! =p
Leg hurts, always getting injured from the tackles of the same person, walking like someone with invisible crutches... -.-zZz
